When our customers come to us with problems concerning their online backup service, we strive to provide them solution as quickly as possible. To save you time, we want to give you some of the most common problems we hear and how we direct customers to fix them.
Problem: I don’t know how much storage I need.
Solution: Go to the folders on your computer where you have your files, if you right click on the folder, you will be able to access the properties of that folder. Click on properties, and you will see the amount of storage you need for saving that folder where it says size. Add up all of the sizes of the folders to come up with the amount of storage you need.
Here’s the tip – Always sign up for the plan one up than you need because you’ll be collecting data and you’ll likely end up needing more in time.
Problem: The software won’t install.
Solution: Ensure you have chosen the right software for your computer. You may need to run the install program as administrator. You can do this by right clicking on it and choosing “Run as administrator.”
Problem: My files are not being uploaded.
Solution: Ensure the software is set up to sync the folder the files are in. If you’ve started to save files to a folder not set up to sync with the software on your computer, the files will not upload.
Problem: I don’t know what to do.
